I don't even know what is handball anymore. And neither do the refs as far as I can see, or anybody else.

 

It was completely accidental mate - ball to hand, or arm. Yet that’s the new law. As soon as I saw the first replay I knew what was coming...

Like I say, I supported the use of VAR, but what we’ve seen so far is a bollocks misuse of the technology.

Cold, wet and as windy as hell today here. Not sure I can be arsed with travelling over to the match, especially after last week......

 

At the time I was happy to get him , but credit to Ralph and the board for sticking with him .

I’ve only just twigged why it was a grudge match.

But if that was handball then players may as well start tying their hands behind their backs. VAR has ruined the game, as predicted.

 

We are losing 9-6 today on the box. Lots of excitement from Brentford for their last ever cup final at Griffin Park. We’ll find a way to roll over as we do every year.

 

Will probably watch that.

I think the base fee when he moves will be circa £20m plus add ons based on appearances, goals etc.

From what I seen of the lad, I think he’ll be a very astute signing for that kind of money in the current mad market.

I’m with you here. I was all for off field assistance to rid the game of obvious referring howlers, but the way this has been implemented by Riley and the PL is truly awful.

It needs urgent review and also for FIFA to look at the new handball rule which sucks dick, as well as adjusting the offside rule to take account of the VAR era.

It’s become a bit of an event over the last few years. Having a birthday so early in January means that most people are fed up with the normal buffet style food straight after Christmas. Obviously only the cooking done outside, the eating will take place indoors!
