So if somebody realises that your son has autism and simply says 'I didn't realise your son has autism' that's not to your taste and is offensive? I feel like bursting out laughing that you get offended by a word. I suffer with emotionally unstable personality disorder and if somebody says to me that they didn't realise I suffered with it, I'm not going to get offended by that
