He's talking about the influence that foreign coaches like Pep, Klopp and Poch, have had on our game. Back in the day every team played 4-4-2 and it was all rather predictable. Now the foreign coaches have inserted a high pressing game with interchangeable tactics and formations constantly happening in the game. The players are fitter and stronger than they've ever been and it shows with the more passing and attacking football that we see now.
They hammered everybody by 3 or 4 goals back then, anyway. I doubt the odd penalty would have made any difference to their 25 years of domination.
They didnt, whereas its a matter of fact that a decade went by before opposition teams got a penalty at old Trafford your comment is based on a false statistic
Which the penalty comment or Man Utd winning every game 3 or 4-0? Neville was found out in Spain. He has a high profile here as a pundit but I treat his comments on tackling with a bucket of salt
I didn't know you suffered with autism. I didn't mean for you to take Man Utd winning every game 3 or 4 nil so literally. Can you put up some links for us of penalties that should have been given against Man Utd at OT, but weren't?
The last time you done that the site owner basically told you to **** off. I'd be very careful using that button or you'll have it removed and maybe your account.
They didn’t. I’ve reported this again. how you respond is far more serious then anything I’ve posted. Threats from the likes of you are water off a ducks back zero tolerance for abuse. I’m very clear about this. Let them ban me or close my account. Their loss
Reported. Not necessary at all. you were on ignore, then taken off but I feel I was correct the first time im very open on this, zero tolerance for any abuse. I had a decade of it over the road. You don’t want to read my comment, ignore feature this is my last reply on this
Football has changed, Neville isn't wrong. Every few decades someone comes along and changes the game significantly in terms of tactics and approach. You've got Queens Park in Scotland in the late 19th century, the 'Danubian school' in the 20s and 30s, the Hungarians in the 50s, Brazil in the late 60s, Total Football in the 70s, and in the 70s and 80s the POMO theory, Pep and his approach in the 2010s. And I'll have missed some out. Interestingly, you can draw a direct line back, through various coaches and managers, from Pep, through total football, the Hungarians of the 50s, to the Danubian school.
