I'm not suggesting anyone should put up with anything, they have to do, whatever their intelligience suggests they have to do. But even a thick shhite like me understands, that if you take a life out, there is going to be a consequence to pay for that. Generally this is where things go a bit tits up, and as per usual it did, and a passenger jet got shot down. Now it's all well and good pointing the finger at Iran, but logic to me suggests, if you hadn't of taken out their man, the passengers would have reached their destination safely, rather than being shot to pieces in a unfortunate accident at the hands of todays so called technology.

I think everyone is equally to blame. The Iranians, The Americans, and The British IF we had prior knowledge of the assassination.

Again mate, what about the price to pay and were paying by continuing to give Soleimani free reign in the region? We might not care because we didn’t hear about it but that bloke was a butcher who set up deals of all kinds of arm sales to terrorist groups who were murdering innocents in the region as well as attacking allied forces.

I feel like you’re making the same mistake as the lovelies on here and using what the US done as your starting point and not the build up to what happened or why.

I'm not making any mistakes. It's a typical American reaction, and you have been brain washed that Iranians are the bad guys and the Americans the good guys. So it's ok to take out their man. But as soon as a passenger jet gets shot down, everyone starts crying. But what did people honestly think was going to happen, as soon has the Americans walked in with their usual jackboots on!

It's like me coming up to Sunderland putting a bullet through your head and not expecting there to be consequences for me doing that. Now if someone happens to get shot in the crossfire, what did we expect was going to happen, collateral damage, jeez how many times have people fallen victim of American friendly fire. But no suddenly we are all precious and shouting them bad, bad Iranians, look what the brutal monsters have done.

America has a similar culture to ours, they treat us well, they're without question the most powerful nation on planet earth, clearly capable of dropping a missile on anyone's head. I see no benefit from aligning with a dictatorial regime like Iran which goes out of it's way to impose itself on the middle east for absolutely no direct benefit on it's people. I would say, support the US and let them get on with it.

For me, when your leader is going out of his way to meddle in affairs and it's directly making everyone's life worse like, for example Vladimir Putin, that country isn't very powerful and shouldn't be the one you are teaming up with. It's the losing side. Now, they're ****ting themselves and blasting passenger jets out the sky.

I mean, Iran has enemies in Saudi Arabia, Israel, Pakistan, India, USA and even China doesn't particularly like them. Defending them is pointless, they're like the national version of Jeremy Corbyn.

    We won't stir anything.

Our country will have zero impact on this situation at all, it's completely out of our hands. I'm simply stating, I wouldn't go around as a nation slagging off and condemning the united states like some wannabe big boy like Corbyn wants us to do. It's literally what Putin does and has done nothing but damage his nations economy and the prices his people have to pay for goods.

He's presenting the opposing position in our parliament, we can either do what we're doing now, which is remaining silent and not condemning the United States. Or we can come out and say it was an illegal act, and try and do something on the UN security council.

We should obviously side with America on this, they will win.

Ok, from now on I'll refer to Corbyn as "John Doe."
