I can’t remember what it’s called. It is essentially soft chorizo and they sell it in a tub like pate. Most of the Spanish supermarkets sell it. You can buy slightly different strengths and from different breed of pig I think. The one in the black tub is the better one. Though can’t remember which supermarket I got it from. May be masymas.
2 mins in the microwave. It's important to stir the beans after 1 minute otherwise the beans around the outside of the bowl become overdone. H.t.h.. The whole meal too 3 mins from start to finish. Difficult to believe I know, but true
Can’t imagine pickled cucumber is very nice. That said I like gherkins. Same thing really. I’m going to make carrot and courgette fries to go with my mac an cheese.
If you like gherkins you'll probably like pickled cucumbers. They're basically a more subtle version of a gherkin. I add sugar, mustard seeds and black peppercorns to the vinegar before bringing it to the boil. Adding chilli works well but it's not to everyone's taste so I don't include it.
