I find it hard to be excited about Ings getting called up to the twatbeard brigade. But at least he's already seen that side of the coin.
That was one of the biggest controversies to ever hit the epl. Give him a hard one. I bet he remembers some right obscure stuff!
Yes, but the media never brings it up to remind anyone because it didn't involve ManU, Arsenal or Liverpool.
Come on HR, you'll be cheering with the rest of us if he does a Rickie and scores with his first touch against Italy...
Technically it did involve Man U. Tevez scored against Man U in the last game of the season to keep West Ham up and send Sheffield Utd down. Also, there was a dispute over his ownership when he was 'sold' by West Ham to Man U that summer
Going to put my neck on the line for this prediction. But I see tonight as the first of the wheels coming off games for Sheffield. The start of the decline.
Probably get mentioned plenty tonight I imagine - hard to bring it up when they haven't really played each other. First meeting at Bramall Lane since that season too iirc. Silly to have it as a Friday night ko imo.
Kinda suits us if WHU lose this if their injuries keep mounting as well. Plenty of twists and turns to come.
