In future, rather than assuming the worst, just ask in good faith and I'll answer you. If you don't think FPP are going to takeover in the near future, I agree with you. If you do, I disagree, but neither of us know for sure and it's a good conversation. If we can't have that discussion without HA BUT YOU SAID type stuff, it's harder for everyone. We can disagree vehemently even. but twithout casting aspersions (as you've done about me from day one) about motive, consistency etc. Deal?

No one's asking you to. I made a perfectly clear and concise post at 8.32am explaining how someone on a discussion forum had contradicted himself and misrepresented me. He started the insults by insinuating I'm too thick to understand something that was said on this forum. He's gone on to call me a weirdo, etc as he always does when his argument is blown. I'm entitled to point out when people are posting nonsense or misquoting me. Sorry if people don't like it but that's just too bad, it's a discussion forum and I'm sticking to the subject of the thread ... ... if other people choose to post endless drivel that's not my problem tbh, no offence. Yes I apologise mate, I was out of order. I always stick to the point of the threads but sometimes feel I have to comment when people are misquoting me or whatever. Personally I think the threads are better with polite disagreement and gentle ribbing, but if smug wants to argue in this more harsh and abrasive manner, apparently the mods will allow it. I'll respectfully decline to get involved from here except to say I don't agree with any of what he posted above that completely misrepresents my position. That is a very good post and point you make. It seems unless one toes the party line then you are classed a pariah. From my vantage point you marshall your information then convey it. Some appear not to like that you have an alternate view or dispute ( politely ) the views of others. The last few pages of this thread we have nitpicking posts that beggar belief in their pettiness and meant that we have strayed totally from the thread title into semantics and point scoring. KM gives out as good he gets but does it without getting nasty or menacing. Strangely he is getting pulled while those making nasty/menacing posts are getting pats on the back. Funny old game
