Yeah, send foreign aid to India so they can send rockets into space. Some of that money should be spent helping Australia right now.
Dominic Cummings has quite got round to this yet it’s on the agenda once they’ve recruited all those weirdos and misfits.
Nice post Nass. The northern part of South America might be the lungs of the earth, but there's no way it can cope with what's being pumped into the atmosphere.
Australia is probably beyond help. Most of it was already uninhabitable, looks like the rest of it will be soon too.
It's important not over read what's going on with the fires Steve. It's true that this is by far the worst season we have on record, but the area burnt is but a fractional part of the country. So far about 10 million hectares have been destroyed, but Australia has a size of 769 million hectares. Where I live on the Sunshine Coast, the fires are finished, the skies are clear and the air is fantastic. The pics below show the Coast as it is at the moment. Still, these are certainly catastrophic fires. Terrible stuff. https://www.gettyimages.com.au/phot...ase=sunshine coast australia&sort=mostpopular
fair enough, that's good to hear. 10 million hectares is still quite a lot though! bit of a flippant comment from me really, although I have got a bit infuriated by the comments coming from your government and PM regarding the fires. it just doesn't really inspire me to believe that they are going to learn from these fires. I've got a cousin who has just been evacuated from where he lives in the bush near Canberra. Seems pretty bad down that way.
one of the previous comments was talking about people being culled when they reach retirement. I was just keeping the same tone.
Article said the men first thought they's saved the house ... they didn't. They also lost 300 sheep to the fire. https://www.news.com.au/national/so...d/news-story/99c835e8f24731fca3dec67bb356bfdd
Fascinating article from the BBC website: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-51043828 Sounds like modern man needs to start listening to the indigenous folk
