Snr’s first visit to the new den was our away game there this season. He couldn’t believe how quiet the place was, nothing like the old den apparently.

A fanbase of kids and try-hard “geezers” have ruined it apparently, the real millwall support must be horrified.

There could never be a place like the old den - best ground for atmosphere EVER - by a country mile :emoticon-0137-clapp The New Den has its moments though - and that's without new owners begging the fans that have jumped ship to Fulham, Palace and Sutton to come back one last time :emoticon-0119-puke::emoticon-0136-giggl

If we had the 'real millwall support' Pinky and Perky would have been gone 3 years ago.

If you had the "Real Millwall" support, you're plastic element would never have been allowed to hound Curbishley out like they did and the Belgian would have been long gone - as for those pathetic protests in the car park :emoticon-0136-giggl:emoticon-0136-giggl:emoticon-0136-giggl:emoticon-0127-lipss:emoticon-0127-lipss:emoticon-0127-lipss

It's 22.20 in Brasil, my reason for the irregular posting times......plus sulking from the other day's childishness.
1/Have you been on the drink?
    2/Do you work nights?
    3/Are you an insomniac?
4/Do you live in another continent?

"Hound Curbishley out", ffs what are you on?

That reminds me of a Paul Fletcher article a few years ago where he wrote how all the Charlton fans denied beeing one of the boo boys.

NB - working from home this week so don't have to get up at silly O'Clock :emoticon-0116-evilg

I’ve been going to Charlton v Millwall games since the late 70s. I’ve never encountered a problem, other than coins being thrown at the old Den. Before this seasons match, Charlton fans in scarves ate fish & chips with ‘Wall fans behind the Main Stand. The problems there this season at full time were caused by the cretinous Old Bill ...

Before segregation when I went to the old Den I used to find the biggest group of coppers I could see and watch the match from next to them. Once I was given free tickets and stood with the Millwall fans. One of them said to his mate, and I quote "That chap isn't here this week, the one who hurls racial abuse".
I kept quiet; David Speedie was playing, and got the "You Scotch cvnt, you Scotch cvnt" every time he touched the ball.

I used to pick up the lemonade bottles at Kilmarnock after the match, you got a penny back on them:emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash:

Funnily enough, I did the same at Windsor races last year. Bizarrely, you had to pay a £1 deposit for a pint glass. By the last race, inebriated punters had left dozens of these glasses on tables :emoticon-0148-yes:
