This. An Iranian war against the US would take many different guises and be played out in across a background of a whole swathe of regional tensions. They'd never directly use Iranian forces to attack US forces as they know they'd get obliterated from US missile attacks.
Agreed, key military installations in Iran and elsewhere would still be hammered though, thus resulting in inevitable civilian casualties. If by any chance that the tension goes down, will be interesting to see how Iran is stopped from becoming a nuclear player.

America has no culture apart from Jazz, Soul, Blues, Rock n Roll, Country, Hip Hop, House & Garage etc. No artists apart from Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock, Andy Warhol, Roy Litgenstein etc etc No writers apart from Walt Whitman, Mark Twain, F Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, Philip Roth, Saul Below etc etc.. Won’t even mention movies. The whole world is immersed in American culture, and has been for well over 100 years. Or is it only culture if it’s old?
