So gotts is a defender and was filling in. Just shows our lack of a decent mid and it's where we should be looking to recruit in this window. Bamford can play Bielsa way but is not lethal enough. Up to rads now to get some money spent.
I have asked the FA to help me To [email protected] Dear Sir, I would firstly like to congratulate you on a very entertaining game between Arsenal and Leeds United. The match was played in good spirit and was a great demonstation of the value of the FA Cup. The reason for contacting you is to make an enquiry about your regulations as I am unable to find the particular rule and clause that allows an Arsenal Player to deliberately kick a Leeds player in an off the ball incident and receive no punishment. I am sure that the rule and clause must exist as you used the very expensive VAR tehnology to review the incident and inspite of this and the refereee being very close to the play no action was taken against the Arsenal player inspite of it being very clear to myself and the many millions of people who were watching the match worldwide that the the Arsenal player kicked the Leeds player. I have attempted to find the above mentioned rule but cannot locate it and I would be grateful therefore if you could advise me where it is located.
What also got me about that VAR was the speed in which it was decided compared to the one later in the game on the far touchline. The kick was a clear red, VAR showed it and still a clear red yet in seconds it was decided no action. Their player sat on his arse trying to prevent us getting the ball, someone’s hand touched his face and it was played over and over again desperately trying to make something out of a nothing situation. I also thought PL refs were supposed to be the best, even the Arsenal fans were asking if Xhaki was trying to get sent off but not even a booking. Klich does a fraction of what Xhaki did and gets booked straight away. I’m not complaining about being beat or knocked out, I’m not claiming it would have changed the result but VAR and the refs leniency towards Xhaki was blatantly shocking
OMG - You lot want a player sent off for a little tap - hardly touched him. Billy would be turning in his grave! Certainly not the Leeds fans of old !!!!!
OMG are you the same millwall who cried and got a Leeds player sent off and a pen, when he didn't touch him at all. Don't throw stones in your glass house
Take a look at the history of this ref officiating Leeds games and last night won't come too much of a surprise to you. Scum supporting cheating bastard.
Actually, and realistically, it shows that you know sod all about football, along with the liker Jock. Were you ever taught anything at school about negatives being positives and positives being negatives. To bring about a positive, you must first be able to identify a negative.
What a brilliant performance, a joy to watch in what was a magical atmosphere in the Emirates library. We outplayed a top premiership side for 45 minutes on their own patch playing with style & confidence of a premiership tea, our movement & passing were top quality. We may have lost the game but we came out with great dignity with lots of compliments from other clubs fans. Positives We ran the gooners ragged losing the game only to scrappy goal. Our movement, passing & stylish play. Kalvin had their 400k a week German international Ozil in his pocket. Meslier's superb debut & his missile passes. Ayling, White, Berardi & Douglas defended well. Klich back to his best. How good was Jack Harrison? Gotts debut. Pontus giving our fans the Leeds salute as he supported his ex-teammates. Negatives Missed chances cost us the game. Referee favoured Arsenal all night.
