Kenneth didn't have anything to do with the multitude of offshore investment vehicles that were conveniently woven into the financial disintegration that lead to our being placed into, and then out of administration. If he had, he may have been guilty of fraud, which as we know is a serious offence so that couldn't possibly have been the case.
At least some of the Arse fans & wider footballing fraternity may now understand why Nketiah had no automatic right to a starting berth at Leeds, and just didn’t do enough to get in the team regularly. Hope he goes on loan to Germany though...
Think he probably will go to Germany at some point, just not sure his fitness will last a weekend on the Reeperbhan
Love stats and this one is good. Our team tonight cost £14.5m yet one Arsenal player gets paid £17m per year not bad for a Championship team....
I've just got in and haven't seen the game but I recorded it. Not sure I want to watch the 2nd half Pearce said that Arsenal went man to man in midfield in the 2nd half, as someone said Preston did, which stopped us playing out from the back. My take on tonight is that we've competed with a strong Prem team with, effectively, our B team. I heard it was a scrambled goal so it's not like we collapsed 2nd half either. A draw and a replay would have been the worst result and even if we'd have won we'd only get a trip to Bournemouth with its 10k capacity. It was in London where we struggle anyway. Meslier, Gotts and Stevens got a run out. All in all a great night.
Leeds were.very unlucky tonight. By far the best team. If I was a gooner I'd be seriously pissed off - worst Arsenal side I have ever seen and will be lucky to finish in top half this season! Shocking when you think most of those players are on over £100k per week. Remember though, most of their fans wanted Wenger out as they thought they could go no further with him - practically hounded him out - well, you got your wish and you've certainly gone somewhere since he left
If possible Doc could you break those stats down into the 2 halves ? Also if we looked at a heat map, pretty sure we'd see us totally dominating the first half territorally and then the reverse for the second. Lot's to learn, but a thoroughly enjoyable encounter and battle of wits between the coaches.
well they pushed Dallas back along way then!... looked to me like Stephens was further forward. hey this total football can get confusing!
