8,000 vermin is like 2,750 City fans

In other words a normal away following per capita.

I saidLeeds wouldn’t win before Arsenal scored. Mind you, that was more to do with the fact I couldn't every bring myself to say Leeds would win even if they were 3-0 up.

So, we’d have taken 2,750 to London on a Monday night? I don’t think so.

If we'd been failing in the lower leagues for as long as the vermin have, course we would...and more.

    Any club would.

You really think so? Are you basing this on our following to Old Trafford for a semi-final? We might have some years ago but not now. The League would be a priority to fans.
Hoped Leeds would go to a replay, get through have more draining matches that affected their League position then gone out on penalties after a quarter final replay so they didn’t get a trip to Wembley for a semi final.

In there first 'big game' for 15 years aswell. How excited they all must have been travelling down after 15 years of vising the likes of Orient and Yeovil..
A bit like the 6,000 plus we took to Villa in the FA Cup and Newcastle in the League Cup. Only we were bottom of the 4th div, never won **** all, been in the doldrums for 20 odd years and never been the Champions of Europe.

Yes, but they will have said they were our cup finals. Leeds have taken plenty to other games in recent years. I know one of a group of them who go from Brid. Decent bloke. Mally P had a few drinks with them in Hull one Saturday night when they were all waiting for a train.

Yes, but they will have said they were our cup finals. Leeds took a quarter of their home crowd, we took just about more than we were getting.Leeds have taken plenty to other games in recent years. I know one of a group of them who go from Brid. Decent bloke. Mally P had a few drinks with them in Hull one Saturday night when they were all waiting for a train, and found them a decent lot despite them being fans of TWS.

Couldn't give a toss what they think. City took more away then we were getting at home for those two games. The Newcastle one in particular was an amazing turnout on a Tuesday night at £27 a ticket when the most we had been paying at home was £7, and we were bottom of the old 4th division. I doubt if there are many clubs in the land who could attract support like that coming on the back of 20/25 years of being shat on from a great height and slipping into footballs basement for so long like we had. It's there total disrespect for our club that forms my view especially from those from Hull who proudly tell you 'I'm Leeds'.

6,000 to Villa & NUFC is like the vermin taking 18,000 there.

Plus we don't have all low self esteem berks nationally who have attached themselves to the failing Leeds bandwagon.

I wonder if Karl Wotsisname has reinstated his Hull FC & Leeds United - the Pride Of Yorkshire on the FC site he was a moderator on? It disappeared when they went down to League 1.

Just edited. Must have predicted text after Hull and put City and I didn’t notice. The test I was on about was interviewed in a pub when they were building the KC saying 15,000;was big enough as City would never get that many,

Mind you I can think of a City fan with a Man Utd tattoo.

Remember him well. Allowed acres of space in the HDM letters pages to rubbish football and Hull City yet proudly claimed to be 'FC and LUFC, pride of Yorkshire'
Another one was Mr Groakes editor of ' In any kind of weather ' fanzine. The one which campaigned NOT to merge with Gateshead Thunder and for a 15,000 capacity KC because 'The only way we will fill a 30,000 stadium is to invite leeds utd to play there because Hull City will NEVER fill it'. HCC held several meetings with his cronies about the lay out of the KC, and only held one open meeting with city fans when they told us what they had decided.

Yes. I asked RH to invite Vince Groake and that prat, can’t remember his name, but he lived on Glasgow Street on and ask them for their views now that City were regularly getting over 20,000 whilst Hull FC were getting 11 or 12,000 and it they had got their way there would have been no rugby league internationals or U21s ones withn25,000. RH said they weren’t in the business of inviting people on to embarrass them. My response that they were happy to have them on spouting crap so why not ended the conversation.
