    A huge part of the problem is the massive expansion in International games plus the extra number of CL games ( compared to EC ) with the promise / threat of them both increasing in future years .
    24 team Club World Cup anyone ?

    I think it is the fault of big money with the likes of City,Chelsea,Liverpool buying all the players in UEFA. They are now among the best teams.So that means more wins= moe games.More pots for big money!!!!!
