I’m really happy that JWP is finally starting to live up to the hype. He’s moving from utility player to midfield dynamo.
Its a shame Adams wasn't a little more confident with his chance, because had he scored we could have all drooled over JWP's assist. A lung busting run from inside his own half, taking it past the opposition with ease, burst of acceleration & a beautifully clever pass at the end of it. I'm so impressed with his fitness levels, you'd never know this game was at the end of a grueling festive period where he played every game. Unbelievable. I really hope he gets to break LeTiss's freekick record this season, it would be such a fitting end to his coming of age performances. Well done James.
He has played every minute of every game so far this season, that’s 21 PL games, 3 EFL Cup games, and 1 FA Cup tie. He has consistently run further in just about every match than anyone else on the pitch. I’m not sure but I bet there aren’t many other players at this level who can boast the same.
I swear that's the fastest I've ever seen him run with the ball and there was another moment when we lost the ball on the half way line and he was way up the pitch, yet he powered back and joined the pack that nicked the ball back almost immediately. The more he plays the faster he gets Good to know that Ralph realises they all need a treat after this run of games ... "The players deserve to have it off and then we can look forward to the next game" Fnaa Fnaa
It's fantastic to see only lasy season, you just couldn't quite see where JWP would play or where he best suited. But now he is the first name on the team sheet.
Tottenham losing. Always nice. Looks like their strongest team on the pitch too, minus Kane of course.
