Not really but they’re a bigger club I’d say. Plus it also represents a different challenge. It’s surprising but I’d rather he go there than Madrid. Maybe Madrid don’t want him anymore too, so he’s taking what he feels is the best available offer.

I believe that his actual wish was for a new challenge and a different way of life - Apparently he is not that keen on living in England and a move to Milan may well tick some of the lifestyle boxes that he wants and joining a team that is currently top of their league ticks the footballing boxes -

Good luck to him I hope the move goes through because its not doing either him or us any good him staying with us

He definitely said he wanted a move to Spain in one of his moans to the Danish press

A shame he isn't headed to Juve, he could ask Adrien Rabiot how acting up and letting your contract run down leads to success...although he'd need to do it quick, as Juve are trying to dump him off on loan already

Aarons is a good player and has a lot more potential to grow on top, but it can’t be forgotten that he’s a very attacking RB and we’ll have similar issues to those we’re suffering currently if we don’t sort out the DM and CB situations too. He’s an upgrade on Aurier for sure and he’s an exciting young English player, I’d love to have him at the club. But our defensive issues can’t be viewed in isolation.

I'm pretty sure that his agent mentioned RM and nobody else. Rumours of him wanting to go there specifically started about a year and a half ago.

Italian football ain't what it was a few decades ago and Inter's fortunes have definitely fallen since Mourinho left and Gareth Bale destroyed Maicon. Maybe it's on the up but Inter Milan's income of 280m Euros is significantly down on Tottenham's 428m in the last comparative figures...

    https://www2.deloitte.com/content/d...iness/Deloitte-Football-Money-League-2019.pdf

However, the Italian tax laws mean that their clubs can chuck big wages around like confetti. Given that Aaron Ramsey's said to be on £400k p/w, he'll be on fabulous wages but transfer fees are a problem due to low ticket prices and tv incomes. The slow nature of their football means they are often 'blitzed' by teams in the CL or EL.

They've also got the problem that the San Siro is falling apart and they and AC Milan are about to go through the enormous pains of a stadium build. So, the money to build a really top team is a potential problem during his stay there, as is the utter dominance of Juventus.

As good as he can be on his day, it's telling that none of the really big clubs have gone all out to get him, even at a really reduced transfer fee.

Talk of a move for Willian as his contract ends in the summer.

If we go for him, there'll be a season ticket for sale <laugh>

If we can appoint a Chelsea legend as manager then why not sign Willian, might as well go all out and make John Terry a coach too <laugh>

Considering what Juve were doping their players with at the time he was playing for them, I have one suggestion as to how...

Probably means in the summer and on if he was a free agent.

Stupid of him to claim loyalty though when he held off on signing a new deal for years.

Yeah probably from China or the Middle East. He’s supposedly on between £150k-£180k here, I’d be surprised if anyone in Europe was willing to match that considering his age and form towards the end of last season (which has worsened this). He Ozil’d us and we fell for it, just like Arsenal did, thankfully ours isn’t as expensive as theirs.

Weird move for Nubel. Neuer's not going anywhere any time soon.

Neuer's got eighteen months on his contract, so if they're future-proofing it makes sense

On the other hand, their habit of hoovering up Bundesliga talent yet not paying for it continues to take so much piss you could fill the Baltic Sea with it

You wouldn't expect Neuer to either retire or leave at the end of that contract, though. He'll be 35.

Bayern's tendency to poach the Bundesliga talent for nothing is damaging to the league.
It's virtually impossible for anyone to challenge them in the long term.

In today's attempt by the Reddit crowd to dismiss literally everything Poch did and hail our brave new frontier under Steptonho, now I've seen them say he'd have been nothing without his agent mate who let several of his clients sell his players to us

There's a slight issue with that, as here's the players they listed and their agents...

    Gazzaniga - Latchezar Tanev
    Sanchez - Villarreal & Schena
    Foyth - Primotempo
    Ndombele - Pini Zahavi
Lo Celso - ...no idea actually

So with both Ndombele and Sissoko picking up injuries in the Southampton game, there's only one person who can help us in the Soumare negotiations...
