DRS for Singapore

It confirmed that the SINGLE DRS zone will be from exit of turn 5 right through the kink to turn 7! As expected really, no suprises there!

So do we think that it will be effective?

Turn 6 should make it a bit more differcult to get by, being mid DRS zone

possibly, we might see some repeats of Hamilton-Webber accident again this year!

 

I think 14-15(?) would be better. As there is already moves into 7

 

Tight street track.. possible rain... held in the night... you may be right
Just not long enough in my opinion. There will be too many opportunistic moves, and only 11 cars finishing in my opinion.

 

Manny I m surprised you didn't vote for Schumacher to win this time seeing the forcast. Lets hope he gets a podium at least

 

well if it's in the rain DRS won't be activated but it probably won't rain for the whole two hours. I know I said that about Canada but there should be more drainage. Because of the confines of the track though, the cars kicking up the spray won't be as effective.

 

There is always hope, it will never waver in me.

 

Don't really get this decision considering the double DRS worked so well last time out, but oh well.

Agreed this could be an accident-prone race, too - remember Monaco.
