The LibDems don't know what they are. They never have.

They're professional bandwagon jumpers. Imagine a political party full of people like man utd fans, and you get the idea.

The British and their complete lack of understanding what a coalition government is: 'Big partner pushes their agenda' and 'wee partner keeps big partner in check with their own agenda' does not mean 'wee partner = big partner'.

Imagine these Tories without the constant threat of the Lib Dems walking. Mental 'pro market' NHS reforms pushed through, 50p tax rate cut already, Murdoch gaining complete ownership of BSkyB, the government's obligations to cut carbon emissions 30% by 2030 would have been abandoned... and many many more little puppies would have been viciously stamped on.

Our coalition was crap. It may as well have just been labour, Plaid Cymru didn't get a say in anything.

Doesn't matter if they were crap or not. I was merely highlighting Mick's patronising view that we are too stupid to understand how coalition governments work.

So? I've been to see United too, plenty of times in fact. But I didn't "jump on the bandwagon", I'm from Salford and was brought up as a United fan. Judging by your age, you jumped on the "Arsenal successful and exciting under Wenger" bandwagon.

I've got no problem with people supporting teams from other areas, but to call United fans gloryhunters when you live over a 100 miles from your team's stadium is a bit hypocritical.

So you jumped on the bandwagon when you were a kid. Nothing wrong with that, plenty of people pick a team when they're young that they have no connection with, and you can't blame them as an adult for sticking with that team. But for you to then call Man United fans "bandwagon jumpers" (I'm sure most non-Manc United fans chose to support United when they were kids too), when you are one yourself is hypocritical.
