We looked utter ****e, considering that was probably the strongest side we could put out it doesn't bode well for next week.

I really want joelinton to do well but he looks more likely to score an own goal, clearly lacking confidence and is so bloody lazy it's infuriating.

This is the worst football ive seen us play my entire life.

Under rafa we had an effective attack and scored good quality goals.. ok we didnt have much ball, but we were effective.

    Not just today

Over the course of the season we have got worse every week.

    Another injury now

Bad manager ... i knew already , but christ i didnr realise just how bad tbh

Due to work commitments have had to watch this and the Leicester game sober, so I know it's not the booze talking.

Can honestly say I'd rather have Pulis in charge right now, atleast he would make this turgid football effective.

Rochdale did their homework and pushed us in to constant crossing, which they dealt with easily. They battered us second half and should have won in the end. Had to double-check it was the team in blue that are in League One.

Muto off, Ki on. Did we change formation or shape, when it wasn't working? Did we ****. We just kept shuffing players around. I don't think anybody knew what they were doing at the end. If we don't get Bruce out and quick, we're getting relegated.

I have discovered the reason sean is struggling and its bruce thinking he is michael carrick and playing him in that kind of role.

Bruce really is a turnip lads

Really really poor showing today. Said it earlier in the week I honestly feel we are the worst team to watch in the world bar none. Boring, turgid, slow monotonous football played at a bang average tempo with no game plan apart from when we lose the ball get 10 men behind it and hope to counter (again at bang average pace).

    I don't blame Bruce
    I don't blame the players
    I don't blame the staff

There's two people at the top of the club responsible for the **** show

Think Bruce picked the strongest squad he could, set up in a formation the lads should be familiar with etc so I'd say the players, especially those trying to force their way in to the squad, let themselves down more than Bruce to be honest. but the problem is the players trying to get into the squad aren't really good enough to get in there. To be honest I don't think that squad today, playing the way they did would be promoted from League one let alone the Championship.

On the positive side of things Ritchie was back to barking at people within moments of coming on and directing play - we lacked some leadership in the game and in general recently, Atsu has proven he shouldn't play again, I wonder if the club regret not keeping Callum Roberts on instead of Atsu? Emile Krafth today did well, nothing came down his and Yedlin's side and he managed to get forwards and get 2 really good crosses in that I saw although I was in and out of it at work so that's just what I saw. Dubravka again kept us in the game and earned us a replay, posted about his being top of the individual errors leading to goals (3) but **** me we'd be a lot worse off without him.

The most disappointing thing for me was Sean Longstaff. He genuinely looked so uninterested today. No desire to get back and defend or pick up runs into the box. Just seemed lazy

He's gone from having Rafa guiding him to Steve Bruce! If I was him I would be looking to leave.

First 30-40 mins we had total control of the game, just needed not to panic when we got near their box. Second half, we looked like we didn't know how to playout the game. We were crying out for Carroll to bully their defenders, which would have created space for others, instead Joelinton looked like he'd never played as a striker doing that role.

Is this not why he was usually paired with Hayden, someone that does all the defensive side of the role. When he's on the ball he makes himself time and is composed, but as you say he just didn't read the game today when they had the ball. He was the senior player in the middle of the park, so needed to really set the tempo. On a positive, Matty looks like he could play in the middle, off the striker in a "10" role or even has the energy to cover the wide positions - just needs to sign a contract now.

Everyone was talking about Joelinton as being utterly ****e, but Ki jesus. Ki is ****ing useless man, why the **** did we sign him? Was it even a position we needed filling?? He never plays!

    Why did we sell Merino??
    Why did we sell Mitro??

    why did we keep Ki?
    why do we have Colback?

Who in the name of god has been in charge or signings and club management for the past 4 years. I'm sorry, but this is managerial failure of a grand scale for so longer than 3 ****ing weeks. We have been utterly ****e at signings for years, and a few good defenders doesn't do it for me.

We are very lucky that many of our outfield players, currently our best in the entire ****ing squad, were signed by McClaren for christ sake. We are sitting here begging for Ritchie to come back, Shelvey has been by far our best midfielder, and Rafa wanted to SELL Ritchie for **** sake.

I'm sorry, but I put both Rafa and Bruce in the same category, if ones a dinosaur, the other is too. He came here with a premier league squad, and left with a flimsy defensive mess. Our best player was on loan, his signings were complete ****e and anyone with an ounce of passion or fight was forced out.

If we are ****ed, then much like West Ham it's because we got dazzled by a trophy winning manager and he abandoned ship half way up **** creek and stole our only paddle.
