Yeah Ings isn't going anywhere. It's obvious he's loving his football here. You can never tell what's around the corner but it would take a huge offer for us to even consider it. And that's in the summer.

 

This would be one hell of a risk. Even if he isn’t scoring goals, yet, he puts in a good shift and can hopefully kick on once the first official goal goes in, maybe against Huddersfield. Tell him the game is a friendly and he will probably score.
If he goes that leaves just “goal machine” Long and “injury waiting to happen because Ralph says he doesn’t look after himself well enough” Obafemi as back up to Ings.

 

It would make sense only if another striker were to be coming in - and I can`t see that.

Also the article say that we have plenty of options already at CB, they obviously haven't witnessed our generosity to the oppo over the last 3 seasons.

It would be madness to not strengthen the centre of defence and both fullback positions in January this time IMO. The rest of the squad is not urgent at this time as we have options up front and in midfield.

 

Admittedly, we do have plenty of options at CB. The quality of the options however ...

 

Just checked that bloke's Wiki and he has only played 18 games in La Liga, it would be a very risky signing IMO at this time and probably not what the squad needs.

Yeah, I don't think there is any chance we will sell Ings, but it also shouldn't be a surprise when people assume we'll sell anything that isn't nailed down given our track record.
