https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...hris-wilder-slams-sunderland-nonsense-1354430 Was he a mag, rewriting history?
So, despite the fact that, when you watch him on the Netflix series, he all but says "I get paid anyway so why should I want to play" - that's all Martin Bain's fault? Chris Wilder has just gone massively down in my estimation
Wilder's going to do his best to big Rodwell up, isn't he? Whatever he says, he must know that he's taking a chance on him but he can't admit that in the press.
I mean I get why he's saying it but yeah he's wrong. Rodwell will trial well, put effort in the first few games and then put his feet up.
Wilder sees this as a chance to add quality to his midfield and a short term deal might suit both parties, the next negotiation will be interesting, but only that. Like Bain and others who have let us down so badly in recent times, the bitter taste remains, but we are a lot better off without them.
I feel for him if he does, because he's about to get a crash course in playing with 10 men each week.
Sorry Chris but we despised Rodwell long before Bain got here. Simply put he was a gutless, spineless, selfish, fragile, entitled, greedy, feeble, timid, spiritless, ineffective, impotent, narcissistic little mercenary.
Nobody can deny the talent of a fit, in-form Rodwell: two-footed, a fluid force from box to box, decent tackler and blessed with a good shot and huge natural stamina. " Off a sheff utd forum.....there in for a shock.
I honestly think Rodwell has the ability to be a top player. He lacks the application. I saw him at Everton and, when we signed him, thought it was a massive coup. Particularly for "only" £10m.
Virtual copy and paste comments from Tony Mowbray this time last year, when the fraud signed for Blackburn

He's mentioned central defence as well, think he's still hoping to regain his England place to make his son proud of him.
