So, despite the fact that, when you watch him on the Netflix series, he all but says "I get paid anyway so why should I want to play" - that's all Martin Bain's fault?

Chris Wilder has just gone massively down in my estimation

 

Wilder's going to do his best to big Rodwell up, isn't he? Whatever he says, he must know that he's taking a chance on him but he can't admit that in the press.

 

I mean I get why he's saying it but yeah he's wrong. Rodwell will trial well, put effort in the first few games and then put his feet up.

What an idiotic thing to say, Wilder has turned into a bit of a plank.

 

Its not the worst statement I've ever seen, but yeah he's wrong.

 

Wilder sees this as a chance to add quality to his midfield and a short term deal might suit both parties, the next negotiation will be interesting, but only that. Like Bain and others who have let us down so badly in recent times, the bitter taste remains, but we are a lot better off without them.

Sorry Chris but we despised Rodwell long before Bain got here.

Simply put he was a gutless, spineless, selfish, fragile, entitled, greedy, feeble, timid, spiritless, ineffective, impotent, narcissistic little mercenary.

I honestly think Rodwell has the ability to be a top player. He lacks the application. I saw him at Everton and, when we signed him, thought it was a massive coup. Particularly for "only" £10m.
