There was no more toxic team than Leeds after ridsdale did his damage. Players sold, training and stadium grounds sold. Creditors not paid etc. Now they are almost back on their feet and imminent massive investment. As far as toxicity is concerned we are a bowl of ice cream

Not sure things have changed that give him the ability to blink, as selling to FPP only works if he can rearrange his existing debt to the club... FPP don't seem incompetent though. You don't 'clear the decks' and not replace key personnel before an important transfer window, and arguably one of the most critical junctures in the club's history. As for 'won't allow Donald to sell while it's in place', while technically true, what myself and GOM are saying over there is that it's just part of the charge sheet. Yes it could trigger a default, but that would be one of the stupidest things Donald could do given his own stakes. He'd effectively be on the hook for the £20m-30m he owes the club with no compensation. The clause isn't designed to be exercised a month after the negotiations, put it that way. It was likely to protect them from being gazumped by another party if Donald did well and our value went up accordingly. Also the main thing is that he will not have done any of this without them being fully aware. Their takeover will either happen very quickly or not at all.
You're to be commended in your ability to change horses mid gallop. You switch from criticism to praise and back whether it's Donald, FPP, GOM, whoever ... ... depending on what you think makes you look best. You try to make it look as if GOM is agreeing with you, on RTG, whereas you've entirely switched your opinion. I don't think he has any time for you whereas you seem obsessed with him, he doesn't appear to respect you or your opinions at all. There's only one person who's changed views here and it's not him. When the 'loan' from FPP happened it took ages to finalise, So perhaps we should not be surprised that if they do finally buy the club, it will take a while as a lot of haggling over price etc will take it's own sweet time.
I'd agree mate. "IF" it is FPP that eventually takeover, can't see it being announced for a long time. Although SD has let everyone know he will sell, I believe between himself & the American lads it will of always been at the end of this season before anything is official. All SD has wanted to get out there is that he is looking to sell, but he's been looking to sell since before last summer. He just thought he could get his price. That is not going to happen. As supporters we can now only wait & hope the deal can be done with the Americans.

The only thing you don't like is when I point out that being savvy has led them down a path that hasn't yielded a takeover. And actually, it's GOM who has changed his opinion. He acknowledged that the money I was talking about from April left the club and went to Ellis Short for Donald's shares. This is a complete contradiction to his stance before which was that we couldn't know. He has admitted that he got too close to Donald and co and a number of people on RTG have questioned his impartiality because of it. I don't give a **** what he thinks of me. Literally none. He has been very wrong about things and like you, is so obsessed by the old 'but I've met person x' mindset that they are suspicious of anyone contradicting their viewpoints. I post on a site that is much less forgiving than this and RTG. I've had loads of ****e and not got precious about it, getting upset about what people say on the Internet is pathetic and weak IMHO.
I just responded with a very factual and reasoned post... you are the one trying to police what people can do.
To be honest, this constant "I'm right", "no, I'm right" is cringeworthy from all parties. Its turned enjoyable speculation about what may happen, seasoned with some ITK and some real-world experience, into a tedious battle of egos. I'm as guilty as anyone of getting into long-winded debates but this one is getting boring now.
