I'll be going small and speculative in Goodwoods opener, the Godolphin 'second string' Okimono still holds a tatterstall millions entry and might have been showing enough at some. The favourite, Genius Step, ran well on debut but the form has hardly been amazing from that, with Democretes (who won that race) proving to be solid not spectacular since then. There's been one or two occasions this season where Godolphin have thrown in a good newcomer against the more experienced favourite.

I have gone for Shomberg in the opener and also in a reverse forcast with Genius beast

I was disappointed the others came out as really fancied an each way bet on it but with 7 runners now have changed bet to the above, will quite obviously get third now.

I'm going big on DEBUSSY this represents a big step down. Thinking too much class for some decent but average types in the context of this class.

Interested in the Debussey race Ardent as i have my main bet of the day going in Mirror Lake, he has won on the course and has run well in defeat and so i thought 8 -1 was too big. Debussey should win but you never quite know how he is going to run.

I guess it is safe to say that the Tracy Waggott yard are hitting form!! One near miss yesterday followed by a 40/1 winner and then another 20/1 winner today!

Hit the post there with Amazing Blue Sky, happy with place money at 25s. Hadn't realised Aussie Blue had been withdrawn so doubled up

Rounders: I am playing some of the winnings EW but only small as i think it prefers softer ground mate <ok>
