Rumour Updates ~ Bakinson to Plymouth looks close, Semenyo to Sunderland or Doncaster (is what we’re hearing), Janneh to Swindon, Szmodics to Huddersfield and the very latest we’re hearing whispers on that a defender might go out if the Robins can bring in an upgrade. We also expect Rodri to move on if two strikers arrive. Also Adelakun to a League One club, possibly Burton or Sunderland.
More a desperate attempt from Leeds to say to Arsenal, ‘look we do play him’, I doubt it’s fooling anyone if their intent is to recall him. I doubt he would come to us anyway given ou form over the last month, and I wouldn’t blame him....
But if they were definitely recalling him, it would been this week the same as we did Pato (found out it was us recalling not them sending him back) They would of wanted him to not play today if it was definitely happening.

Big issues down the gate. I heard Wednesday that he had fallen out with KP and Callum O Lost the dressing room i reckon.
I'm not sure about all this. For me, Palmer came with an arrogance about him, and you see it in his game. For me it's good riddance, another JET/Tomlin type, great when they can be bothered to turn it on, and awful when they don't.
We don't need wasters that arrive with an attitude and as you say supcon they only turn on the style when they fancy. We have had a shed load of this kind of player over many years and usually they end up getting up everyone's nostrils and leaving for pastures new - good riddance to them all. The wheels generally start to come loose when the babies throw their toys, and any commitment, out of their comfortable prams.
Bristol City monitoring Motherwell and Scotland U21 striker - reports The forward has impressed at the Scottish side this season https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport...l-city-monitoring-motherwell-scotland-3707339
Sadly, I think we all know that this is the type of player City end to sign. 7 goals in 30 games in a joke division hardly inspires confidence of him ending our goal famine in the Championship. If we can’t get an experienced or proven 15-20 goal striker of Championship caliber, we may as well save the money and give Semenyo a run
I am not expecting any life changing transfers in this window which seems about right given that we tend to sign players that are not up to the standard required to get us more stability. Over the years I have stated that I don't think there are many decent players who would state that their dream is to play for Bristol City. We certainly need to bolster our squad if we truly want to compete in this division and our previous tells me to expect the same old excuses about market prices, and all that, and although I understand the dynamics I just don't think we are up to the necessary business. My biggest concern is about the inner dynamics of Bristol City and, if indeed there is unrest back stage, someone needs to sort it right now and to hell with this transfer window because most of Lee's signings have not yet generated the right mix of players so far in his tenure.
