I don't see why not his loan spell ended a while ago.

 

As we're Saints, and see the cloud in every silver lining, anyone who doesn't play on Saturday must be
lined up for a transfer, and Ralph's been told not to get them cup-tied.

Squad rotation, and giving fringe players an opportunity, may be a different way of looking at things, of course, but this doesn't fit with the 'Saints are actually doing quite well, so all players must be in the shop window' narrative, put about by 'media pundits', aka old players from once decent teams.

 

Libby, since you care about/hate/love (delete as applicable) VAR, do you happen to know if it will be used for any cup matches? I could try to look the information up, but I'm lazy.

Thanks, Libby. It will be interesting to see if any (Prem) clubs decide that VAR has done them no favours, so they decide NOT to use VAR for FA Cup home games. Or is the choice to use/not use VAR for cup games down to The FA, rather than individual clubs?

I know what I can do, I'll try to find out for myself, rather than posing questions

 

Think it's down to the FA to pick which games have it.

 

Oh, well. VAR has been positive for us, up to now, so this will probably mean that Huddersfield will get the rub of the green:

I predict that Saints will have two goals ruled out as the scorer was offside by a gnat's todger, then a blatant handball in the Huddersfield penalty area, seen by the referee, will be overturned, as the VAR officials spilt coffee over their keyboards, so couldn't re-check the footage.
