Southampton were pulled up for 21 fouls, although I think they committed nearly 30. This was more than any other PL team today but only got 3 yellow cards. Spurs committed 9 but only got 3 cards. Anyone would think that the Mike Dean was refereeing the match.

He will have been told by Levy to give the impression he doesn`t need players and we have little to spend etc. Give the impression we are desperate for new players and have a wedge to spend, then the prices of any potential new player will go up.
