It's this. Today's line-up was pure Ossie circa 1994/95 (well '94 as he'd been sacked well before Christmas). At least Sessegnon tried to play left back. Aurier just wandered around the pitch spreading disaster and disappointment as he went. Eriksen was a bizarre midfield pick after we'd been reamed by Norwich in the midfield. At least Lo Celso has that Argentinian spirit about him and will rat about to win the ball. I presume that Skippy will never get a game with this clown in charge? Our lack of any midfield control has left our centre backs to pump the ball up to the opposition's centre backs. Now that Kane's broken, even that 'tactic' is lost to us. As it's all we've got, the next few weeks should be 'interesting'. Mourinho's already started pulling embarrassing stunts to deflect from the deserved criticism. After the Liverpool game, he's going to have to streak around the ground with "I Love Arsene Wenger" tattooed across his chest to deflect my anger for even 30 seconds. Get him out of my club, bag and baggage!
One thing I've noticed the Lunatic Fringe repeating ad nauseum of late is how Poch's reputation as a cultivator of young talent is completely false given the lack of youth teamers in our side (other than Winks, obviously) Somehow it hasn't occurred to them that the likes of Morgan Schneiderlin, Jay Rodriguez and Sadio Mane came through Southampton's youth team - or, to put it another way, they're trying to find a reason to act as if Dele Alli and Eric Dier aren't examples that support Poch's reputation because they're throwing their weight behind a proven winner who currently doesn't know how to set up a central midfield properly...
Exactly, but they're so determined to back A Proven Winner™ that they're willing to talk complete and utter bollocks to justify it
Poch had to go but for the life of me I don’t know how Levy thought that Jose Mourinho was the solution to rebuild and refresh the squad. It’s an expensive and could be a fatal mistake for the club.
My god we are **** - today we plunged to new levels of **** possibly not seen at our club since the dark days of Christian Gross - Jose is making Tim Sherwood look like fergie thats how bad his setting up of our team has been. Today the Saints all put in a shift, (the minimum any team should do), but did they have to play that well to beat us - No we offered nothing, I can't think of a single positive to come out of that shambles, every outfield player (I will excuse Gazza as he was OK the goal was a complete miss kick he was expecting it come across him as was Ings!), but no one else wore our shirt as though it mattered and that is unacceptable - When we lose to Boro on Sunday our season will be pretty much over and Jose should be leave so that we can start to prepare for the next one.
Looks like the Narrative of Poch's training regimen being responsible for injuries has gone out the window...
Slowly but surely the mask is slipping and the miserable moany real Mourinho is coming out in press conferences.
After we get completely and utterly shafted against Liverpool, he'll be fully in 100% obnoxious twat mode. I think I'll go and live in CK's cave for a bit, so that I can avoid it.
It's bloody cold this time of year. Don't usually have to open it until March/April but this season I might have to make an exception. Pack your long johns.
You are all welcome on planet RCL until he goes. We are currently on a 48 match unbeaten run...are reigning CL holders, Fa Cup holders and League Champions. Arsenal are mid table in league one...Liverpool are in the relegation zone with United and Chelsea. I am 6 foot 4...ripped to ****...and Mrs RCL swoons when I walk in the room....oh and I am minted....and my kids do as I ask. If RCL made lager it'd be miles better than Heineken
I'd be happy to see us actually compete in an away game and get rid of the fungal infection on my left big toe...
I think he's just amazed - and disappointed - that we would smash our transfer record to sign a player who can't play two games in a row. He sounds genuinely shocked. It's almost as shocking as spending £53m on Fred .
