How did he do last night? Preferably an answer from someone who went, not just listened on the Radio like me <ok>

I went, thought he was awesome, only bettered by hatem and sylvan looked like he wanted the ball was composed and overall I thought he gave a brill performance and should have moved above guthrie in the pecking order!

Does that put Gosling even further down then?

I'd say so! I thought guthrie was just better then Gosling even though he finally got a chance at RM! It's a shame but I fully expect Gosling to come good at some point

Where is goslings natural position? i fort he was a winger? if thats the case not really fair to compare him to a CM...and this Abeid...he more defensive than attacking?....

Gosling left Everton to get more opportunities in his preferred position, which was centre mid.

I don't want to compare him to Cheick but he looks like a very similar player, broke up play really well but probs got forward like nolan a bit more

He was decent, actually. Impressed by him, to an extent. As said though, outshone by Marv and Benny, which is nothing to be ashamed of! He was definitely better than Guthrie and Gosling, the latter of which I didn't think had a very good game. Although we should see what he can do in CM before making any final judgments really.
Abeid did seem to disappear a bit later on to be honest, but in the first hour or so he seemed cracking.

Out of all the youngsters who you think will actually break 100% through to the first team (i.e. s.taylor / carroll)....

i mean sammy, abeid, ferg, vuckic etc....will any of these manage to do the same or you think they will go to lower leagues and play there game there (i.e. chopra)
