Will it not be a case of FPP considering their £10M as a deposit on the sale price, assuming they’re still interested?
It would be like someone over RTG said that Schteeve was advising them early on and he has been at the last 3 games apparently.
Looking at their accounts (below), it cost Madrox £37m to buy the club debt-free. £12m cash + £25m of the club's debt taken on by Madrox. Are you saying the value of the debt-free club has gone down by at least £22m in 18 months? The squad alone is valued at £13m https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/afc-sunderland/marktwertanalyse/verein/289 Admittedly overvalued at £13m but then you've got everything else too, such as the properties. The stadium cost £24m to build. The academy cost £13m to build.
Was the £37m before or after the parachute payment or was that always going to Short? Is it coincidence that creditors equals net book value
Surely there must be one rich Sunderland fan wanting to take over the club because he loves it and not in it to make money?
Seems like yesterday when I was choked seeing Bob Stokoe running on the Wembley pitch to "attack" his goalie...……!
£37m was the value including future PP income, but there were also large legacy payments to make for old players etc. It's the same because Madrox didn't have a bank account. So for everything it owned (the club), it owed the same amount to other people (e.g. SD, CM, ES/SDC).
