New Inter coach Gasperini has been sacked just 3 games into the new league season after recording a draw and two defeats one of which was to Serie a newcomers.Novara (anyone heard of them?) They also lost their first Champions league match 1-0.

There was a lot of debate recently about our managers tenure and there was the '4 games in' argument in favour of Bruce saying it would be madness to.consider sacking him so early into a new season.

Inter are now looking for their 4th coach in a year since Mourinho left for Real and it appears to be a poison chalice since the special ones departure.

Is it crazy to show a manager the door so soon or does it differ depending on the club and their ambitions?

It's part of the football culture here in Italy, and to me is madness.

In fact in most seasons you'll find an example of a club sacking a manager, getting someone else in who also fails and gets the sack - and they go back to the first manager!

All it does is create instability and never solves any underlying problem.

In Inters case I think they are suffering from a Mourinho hangover, from winning the treble to then losing Mourinho then last season then losing there long held serie a title to AC. They now need to take their time and make the right appointment and stick with their man till atleast the end of the season.
