Amazing number of police there on saturday , it must be free reign for criminals elsewhere in Hull when City are at home
We should thank Humberside’s Finest for keeping everyone safe at these potential bloodbaths every game. Some people are still traumatised over games against Man .Utd and Sunderland over 45 years ago. Yet, when needed, against Huddersfield and Millwall, Humberside Plod were inept and incompetent, rounding up a few City fans to give the impression they were doing something.
Always makes me smile whenever the police are mentioned on here how so many come out and slate them yet when the **** hits the fan the majority of those calling them it's the first number they dial for help. Got to love the Billy Big bollocks of this world !
Talk about 'fill yer boots' v Stoke the amount of police inside the stadium was ludicrously OTT. For a gate of 11,000 ??? It would be interesting to know what Humberside Police charge Hull FC and HKR a season. FC in particular, same stadium and similar sized crowds ?
To be fair we needed protecting against Stoke when the Chav in the Laura Ashley raincoat walked over towards E1 and caused mass hysteria as he spread his arms out in a terrifying manner
Afraid my point wasnt aimed at numbers of police .. it was aimed at the childish and somewhat fkn stupid comments aimed in general at them by mindless ****wits .. hope that answers your query
If we had a league table of cost per paying customer, looks like we'd have this wrapped up by Xmas. That is really shocking.
You'd think the local "journalists" would be pushing either the old bill or city for some extra info on this as to why etc....
…….and asking for comparison's with the two local rugby league clubs policing costs ? Because I think there would be a public outcry if it were Fc getting charged over £200k for policing and City playing from the same ground to similar sized crowds were getting away virtually scott free.
