Call me old fashioned but I prefer a keeper who can actually stop the ball going in the net first and foremost.
I get your point and agree to an extent, it doesn’t excuse the constant play acting by Alioski when he went down and you’d expect a bit of defending skills
If our defending wasn’t poor it would have been a 5-0 win though, I see where you are coming from but we’ve conceded too many goals and needlessly given the ball away too many times in recent games
Seems fairly obvious he's getting a lengthy ban sometime soon, otherwise the decision would have been announced ages ago. As we're doing well, I'd honestly rather that didn't happen...but you may be right and it could be a blessing in disguise. Time will tell, but we've seen far too many keepers who can't handle the pressure over the last few years. For all Kiko's faults he does seem unfazed about any mistakes/errors and just gets on with playing the game.
IMO Kikko up until now has been a huge improvement on last season. Unfortunately as he is last in defense the goalie will always cop the flak be it his mistake or not. The only other answer is to put an untried French lad in, who will kop the same flak as Kikko gets if he makes mistakes and that will probably knock any confidence out of him.
Simple answer is, if we replaced all the players who've made mistaked this season we wouldn't have any players left. Don't know why some seem to cop it way more than others.
In that case Cooper should be humanely put out of his misery for the betterment of the team. Oops, you see it's not always good to share...sometimes you should just keep your trap shut and suffer in silence
Like Big Head told Eddie Gray that if he was a horse they would have shot him as he always seemed to be injured?
Now I may be shot for what I'm about to say, but IMO a lot of those players who have been slated like Kiko, Alioski, Cooper, Harrison, Costa, Dallas, Bamford, Klich have actually helped us get in the position we are.
I'm with you on this, moan moan moan some people are never satisfied. Not me I'm easy to please, top of the league what more do people want.
