A condition of the loan is that Stewart Donald cannot sell the club without the permission of FPP, the Yanks to all intents and purposes "owned" the club anyway as they had "power" over what Stewart Donald could or could not do with the club. Due diligence etc already done, looks like the Yanks have given Donald enough rope to hang himself and (to mix metaphors) he has stitched himself up like a kipper. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Recently I was the first person to post anywhere about McGeady going, first about Methven going and I posted about this sale yesterday ...

... everything I've posted about is starting to happen.

This isn't just the first on chat forums or Twitter, this was before any fanzines or actual media outlets.

Well done smug lad. Hopefully a deal can be done quickly and the club can start moving forward again.

But worried he's doing this. Indicates that FPP may not be interested, given they essentially loaned him £10m that remains unspent as far as we know.

Given that he would need to run this by FPP to even get this far, this doesn't look good if he's seeking a new buyer.

So either fpp take control or we are buggered until next season, by the looks of it.

I mean as an example, if FPP effectively have first dibs on the club, and even have ways of enforcing their takeover if needs be, surely there's no real reason to even announce it if FPP are going to take us over?

Smug, you said they were coming on board, is this what's happening now?

So surely if he wants to sell the Americans can take over?

We have to look above all of that mate.

The future of the club will be decided on a higher plane this.

The team is good enough and the impetus of new owners might drive us on.

Whatever the case Donald has to go so we have to grit our teeth and deal with whatever happens next.
