Yep. Lose those two, and this place will erupt into the greatest wumfest any of us will have ever witnessed. Bible scholars will write about it, in the distant future, and the likes of Pixie and G4E will be rendered as Satanic figures with clown-like overtones.
United fans all need to remember that every league title we won, Liverpool fans were there every step of the way, every time, reminding us of when Howard Webb used to line up for us every game.
Just watched the Liverpool v Wolves highlights. Liverpool are going to win the league by a mile. They really don’t need such ridiculous help from VAR. It’s completely ruining the game.
@NSIS this is what started it ... even got a like from Skylarker (not one of my fans) ... got called a pervert for it... perhaps you might want to revaluate your comments about bantz and getting personal? ... or perhaps not ... makes no difference to me ... I'll call a **** a **** ... and I've got it spot on ... groovy gang can GTF ... not on here for them
Virtually everyone's main problem with VAR is the offside issue. Clear offsides not being flagged were were the problem but VAR is ruling out perfectly good goals that NO ONE ever moaned about...and they are effectively doing it on guess work tarted up as fact. The technology ... from film frames per second and the number of cameras at a game are not able to guarantee that the decisions are accurate in a sizable number of cases. Spurs v Leicester... Son ruled offside. Spurs v Shef Utd...SU were ruled offside Spurs v Brighton...Kane ruled offside Spurs v Norwich...Pukee ruled offside 4 perfectly good goal in just 20 games involving us. Suspect it is the same kind of thing for most teams. Being at a game waiting 2-4 minutes to check a potential "clear and obvious mistake" and ever goal is killing the enjoyment for those of us lucky to go to matches. Spurs fans were openly chanting "**** Var" whilst waiting for the sheff Utd goal decision! The handball issue is about a rule not VAR and penalties will always be about opinions if it about a foul (ie enough contact etc.)
