I see Wolves are fielding some of their stiffs for their roll over at Castle Greyskull.

"A defeat but some good signs for @Arsenal under Arteta. Still convinced they’ll stay up."
(Gary Linekar tweet to BBC Football Live)

Absolutely vicious!

Even the pro pundits are ripping the piss!

Fcuk knows what mayhem is unfolding on Arsenal Fan TV...

Probably Arsenal’s best performance this season. Thought we played brilliantly for 80mins and then threw it away and got unlucky with a couple of decisions.

You can see what Arteta is trying to do and the players seem to be up for it so far. Think we will see an up turn in results if we keep going down this tactical route.

Robin Best: Another game another shambles, it is getting all to boring now. A spell in the Championship will do these players a whole load of good as that seems to be the level of their abilities. I do not know if the team can be, or deserve to be, saved.

Tammy Abraham on scoring his first Chelsea goal against a 'big six' club: "It felt good. I knew it would be a matter of time before it came and thankfully it came today."

(BBC Football Live interview, following Arsenal v Chelsea)

Big 6?!!

Arsenal are 12th.

Wolves are now a bigger club than Arsenal.

Arsenal look to be finished as one of the top sides.... this is what happens when fans start chasing good managers out …

I wouldn’t go that far. This is the first total disaster season and we are trying to find our feet in the post Wenger era. Other top teams have had the odd disaster season in recent years and recovered from it.

I’ll be interested to see if a new style of play develops under Arteta and if that is enough to get the team back on track. And if the club can afford and/or are willing to spend in the right areas to improve the team.

To be fair to Pix, he never wanted rid of Wenger.

I predicted a decade on the manager merry-go-round. Pixie laid into me for saying that, but I think an apology will be due very shortly.
