Will give Parkinson the chance to bring in new players.

going from past experience any players brought in, it won’t be on January the first.

When do you think these players will arrive?

I’m having January 31st. So that leaves you all 30 days.

The vast majority of deals at a club ( bar the mega rich ) are done in the final week.
It's frustrating but it always been like that.
The lower down the food chain the longer the wait.
Selling clubs wait to ensure they get the best deal. Players and agents likewise.
Any potential players looking at us now would be sceptical of how long PP is going to be around.
As has already been mooted it seems loans will be what we go for. They are cheaper and easier to conclude. When in the premier probably our best deals were loans ( Evan's, rose, Alonso). In the pub league they have been nothing short of disastrous.
Any player coming in will be wondering what they walk into. The fans are against PP and in a close second comes the owner. The atmosphere can be toxic.
Given our financial mess maybe loans are the way to go.
Promotion has to be off the agenda in all reality. The points we are dropping and have dropped against very poor sides is shooting ourselves in the foot.
Best we can hope is donald gives up the ghost and is forced to walk away and we can consign his awful tenure to the annals of mediocrity and the yanks come in and sort us out top to bottom, because right now it is god almighty mess.
Let's hope my negativity isnt singled out by those with unbalanced vindictive agendas

Happy to be criticized. Never was one to think it was important to go with the flow.
For some my home TRUTHS dont sit comfortably.
Donald is the person that sits astride this total mess. It appears that his non safc 'activities' are off limits according to some. Well boo hoo.

I have to admit, when he first arrived I thought he was exactly what we needed. Fast forward 18 months and the whole situation is a total mess.

Well that was a lot better than your usual off the cuff diatribes and it's hard to take issue with any of it. Is it because it's Christmas?

If I was a footballer, I wouldn’t sign for Sunderland whilst Parkinson is manager.

It’s a sad fact. Anyone can see we are falling fast down the side of a cliff with him in charge.

I thought PP was brought in to get us promoted. Well barring a miracle it’s not going to happen. He is clearly getting the transfer window to try and improve the squad. But what happens at the end of the season when we are still in League 1? He gets the inevitable pay off and the search is on for another manager. We as a club are left with players brought in by PP which means another season where we don’t get promoted as the new manager will “need time.”

One of websites is suggesting that PP wants ben alnwick on a free .
    If true how ludicrous.
We have 2 keepers who are more than capable at this level.
That he is ex bolton and no one else wants him speaks volumes about PP ( if true )

The one position of relative strength. I know let’s bring in a freebie and flog one of the two keepers who are if not better than Alnwick, at least his equal
