I think the world would be a better place if he pursued a career outside of football. You don't need to sprint to be a party entertainer. Just saying.
Which 3? Offside via VAR was an appalling decision I accept that, but the handball for the free kick and the foul on Kane were both clearly the correct decision. The fortunate nature of their 2nd goal almost made up for the VAR, but not quite.
I wonder if we learnt anything new today? I am not sure I did - but lets see what I think was confirmed today; Aurier is not fit for purpose (putting it mildly) Foyth still has a mistake in him Age is catching up with Jan, Ndombele if paired with a proper defender midfielder could be the player we were hoping for Harry needs more service Dele is still frustrating Lo Celso will be a good addition and needs to play instead of Eriksen Lucas is an excellent sub We still miss Hugo and finally VAR is ruining the game
The three you mentioned. I don’t think it was a free kick or penalty. Admittedly they got lucky with the og but we got away with that today. The number of massive individual errors is scary, I don’t think it’s long before someone wallops Spurs like Bayern again if they keep playing like this.
Agreed with most, if not all your thoughts, but this particularly was spot on. Yes, we needed him to get his confidence back, but he was twatting about like he thought he was Messi.
Not that I'm advocating sacking another manager but......Manuel Pellegrini's available. I'm just saying.
Not a free kick? He handled the ball while his hand was away from his body...that is the definition of handball so therefore it was s free kick. Not a penalty? Can not disagree more. The Offside was a joke decision...that is 2 in our favour and 2 against this season. They out played us in the first half and deserved to win...we were very lucky but not with the free kick or penslty imho.
Is that signed of because you are better or signed of because the treatment is only authorized for 6 weeks
Just back from Carrow Road. Had enough from this pile of ****e. I don’t want the ‘new and polite’ Jose, I want the Jose who was an arse, who kicked backsides at Chelsea and who won things. The Jose who will take no nonsense from a bunch of pansies which is what we have at the moment. In the past 4 seasons I have only missed 2 games home or away in all competitions, yet I have never felt so disillusioned as I do these days. Poch did my head in, the guy was so two faced it was unbelievable, yet some of our current squad surpass him with their arrogance. Effing sort it Jose, I applauded your appointment because you’re a proven winner, but now you’re seriously worrying me.
Apart from the 5 of the 6 knockout CL games before the final football for us has ranged from: to: to: I'm glad spurs in 2019 is finished
In game show terms, he went from The Sale of the Century to The Price Is Right - and he wasn't suited to the latter. Could he cope with Blankety-Blank?
Got back 30 mins ago. Great day out with my cousins, that's another ground I can tick off the list but yet another abject defensive display. I'm reaching Winks levels with Toby now, getting ****ing sick of him and I hope that the new contract was merely to add value in order to bin him off sooner or later, he's been garbage for too long and today was a disaster class, can't believe we benched Dave and not him. Aurier again showing what a walking disaster he is and Foyth done himself no favours. Jan can't play LB on a long term basis and Gazza yet again let in what I felt was a save-able shot, new keeper definitely becoming a must. Bit disappointed with Sess, he made brilliant runs but when he got the ball in the final third it seemed like he felt scared to take on his defender and often passed back/ to the side. Tanguy and Eriksen were superb, especially in the second half. Brilliant goal and the Dane could've had an assist or two as well whereas Tanguy ran the show from midfield - he definitely needs a DM alongside him though, he had to back track far too much and ideally you want someone like him being around the central area of the opponent's half, not the central area of ours. Customary awayday pano
Blaming Jose Mourinho for Toby’s brain fart anyone? He picked everyone the fans wanted on that pitch The players are limited Time for Levy to back his new manager
Forgot to say, I brushed shoulders with Clive Allen as I walking into the turnstiles, before I realised it was actually him though it was too late as he was being escorted into what I presume was a premium lounge. Would’ve been good to get a pic.
