It looks like Parkin will be lining up against us next week, he's apparently due to sign a one month loan at Donny tomorrow.
I think he could do a lot better than that. Hopefully he won't come back to haunt us. My prediction has just gone from 2-0 to 2-1.
If I knew I could triple my earnings by eating less pies I'm pretty sure I could manage it. You must have a serious problem if you are a professional footballer but waste a lot of your talent by not getting fit.
To be fair, it could all just be a mix up with accents and he was told to "come back as fit as possible".
It's not pies that are his problem, he goes straight to the pub after every training session and always has done. He's on a similar training regime to me.
Maybe he's just satisfied with his life? He would have still earned a whole lot more than most people in his career and he's had a good time doing it by the look of him. He obviously didn't care about earning a load more, because if he did he would have kept fit and stayed off the kebabs. TBH if I was a footballer I would have done the same.
And Bullard Lets hope The BEAST does'nt come back to do what many ex-players do, you just have to look at McLean at his old Stomping ground.
For such a big beefy bloke Parkin in my opinion has one of the most graceful touches/take downs I've ever seen for a big bloke. His close ball control is also very very good. I'll never forget that headed winner he scored for us at the KC against TWS
Parkin is a total disgrace to football. He is continually overweight and so unprofessional. There was always a good talent in there but he has wasted it for years.
