#calledit Pep gives up https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/50930157 Asked if the title race is over, Guardiola told BBC Radio 5 Live: "The advantage is too big, yes." It's not even January you coward
Last week when he beat Leicester he said "If we play like we did tonight we can compete with everyone."
What do you think is realistic this season Personally i think you could win either domestic cup I dont think Europa is on this season, not meant disrespectfully but the other year when you won it you were comfortably the best team in it imho, this season there are still some good sides left, not cant but not as likely. League is defo too far, CL in touching distance, but again there are other good teams involved there Where do you think you will finish?
We are defo firmly in the driving seat, if we let anyone back in then we honestly wont deserve it Simple as really now That is why that win against Leicester was so important, we need the loss to come as late as possible, that performance will have demoralised city as they must wonder what its going to take Pressure is off them now so they will most likely go on a run A few more games and we should have a better than evens chance lol
Compete with everyone is a long long way from saying you can win the league at this point. (maybe not in Astroese though)
A trophy and top 6 would be nice this season, anything else would be a bonus. Next season top 4 would be my minimum requirement at this point but you never really know how other teams are going to step up, i expect Chelsea, Arsenal and possibly Spurs to be much better next season so we would have to keep up and improve a bit more than them.
He says City can't even concentrate on the cups because then they'll miss out on top 4 #excusesinearly
Sounds like reality to me, they are playing **** and he knows it. Nice situation for your team to be in.
I think a lot of it is because of how hard Liverpool pushed them last season. City aren't built to play an entire season. Now they're burnt out and paying the price.
You're not beating Man City over two legs imo so can't see you getting EFL Cup. I think Man City will take both domestic cups again; especially with the easy draws they keep getting. Only thing is if they concentrate on the CL. I think we'll strengthen but even if we didn't, it'll take a lot for you to close the gap still. Man City will spend big in the next two windows. {gap to rest} Chelsea will strengthen and get better under Lampard imo. Spurs will try to strengthen but will Mourinho have a say and if so, which Mourinho will we see? Arsenal are anyone's guess. Everton could be a dark horse too.
They don't need to concentrate on cups when they get the likes of Oxford, Port Vale and Man Utd in the draw...
