Signature removed and permission to alter signature also removed, for the serious violation of Christmas Dinner 2019 rules.

Nowt wrong with my judging ability, if I'd had any of those Christmas Dinners I would have been seriously disappointed. So I went for the next best thing, Boxing Day meal.

So what do I judge on, did the chef, use ALL fresh ingredients, by that I mean nothing out of a tin or done from frozen. Was the serving, substanial, it's Christmas ffs, at least try to put plenty on the plate.

Next up, did it contain large crispy roast pots (min serving of 6 each), did it at the very least contain brussel sprouts (min serving of 10 each) and at least two other veg in generous quantity (automatic disqualification for including peas). Did they make a stuffing (min 2 balls each), i'd accept from a box, but again not frozen., and don't forget the pigs in blankets - was the photo taken prior to pouring the gravy.

Does the meat look dry, it better not. Was there wine evident on the table. Did they do Xmas pud for dessert.

Did anyone achieve all of the above on Christmas Day, no, no and fooking no!

Apart from the point about you liking 2 balls, you hit on something, no sign off any xmas pud anywhere. Or mince pies...

Best dishes by far over this period (apart from my xmas eve chinkys<laugh>) have been Sweats cheesecake and then his Lasagne, he wins hands down for me.
