The letter of the law states that if a player raises his hands and makes contact with a players face they should be sent off and face an automatic three game ban. As you may be aware a certain Shola Ameobi pushed a player in the face and I believe that the referee did not see this incident properly and the yellow card he received should be upgraded to a red card.

So please FIFA ban him so we don't have to put up with him for three more games! Thank you...

Spot on about the hand to face being an automatic ban, maybe we should all send FIFA a reminder about this.

Did he get a yellow for that?

He should have seen red the feckin idiot, but if he got the yellow for that they can't take action :(

Wish they'd just stick him in the reserves, he is an embarresment.

I believe that if the referee reviews the incident and says it is worse than he originally thought and if he saw the incident properly, they can change it to a red card. But the FA can't change it unless Lee Mason allows them to. I think.

It will just be our luck that when we want someone to be banned they wont and when ever our best players are involved in this sort of thing they get banned!

If he got booked for it, thats meant to mean the referee saw it and took action - so no further action can be taken.

I wish he never got booked. Then he could have got a ban.

Shola doesnt belong anywhere near our starting 11.

Yeah, all the Forest fans were going mental for him to be off, but it looked like their player retaliated and the ref just gave them a bit of a talking to.

He's got a bit of a mental streak in him that man. Remember when he kicked one of the Reading players for no reason at the Madejski in the CCC? Should have probably gone for that.
