18, didn't hear the Munich references & neither apparently did the press. But your point is well made.

As to lighting flares & hiding banners, someone should be asking serious questions of Yorkshire plod given the sensitivities & high profile nature surrounding the game

My bag was searched going into the ground for weapons...they let off a ORANGe flare..not red...that was ****ing orange. and the laser pen flashed at the plyers? wtf? we all have a set of ****s that support us, I know that more than most, but last night was distasteful...

That flare was so ****ing sad. Who would buy one and bring it to a game? Obviously led to chants from the Leeds end of 'what the ****ing hell was that'

    Quote from the Telegraph today:

"Munich was not on the agenda for the Leeds fans, however, beyond those who chose to mimic an airplane with waving arms."

So it seems like there were some references, although nothing as blatant and wrong as that banner...

The banner was wrong as was any reference to any tragedy involving football. Neither band of supporters should be make references to these events. The powers to be should be removing these scumbags from grounds and giving them bans. End of.

its not even red...its not ever reddddd..you silly bastards, its not even red <laugh>

why did the MUCs fans have a green laser pen as well by the way?

Like I say, ours tried to sing but were shouted down and hardly anyone apart from the youths joined in...so we actually didnt do as bad as I thought really...

very distasteful. there were a few in town in casual clothing to be fair that got turned away from the moneky..to get turned away from the moneky something must have been wrong with them <laugh>

Fans will always have Banter and a lot of it is designed to hit a raw nerve and get a reaction, Munich,Hillsbrough and Istanbul references overstep the mark but get the reaction craved by the tormentors.
Reminds me of the time i saw two drug addicts having a fight, one was a heroin addict and the other a crack addict, the crack addict won and justified himself by saying the heroin addict was 'lowlife scum', to me and everyone else watching there wasn't much between them.

Many Man utd fans from last night have complained about being spat at, bricks chucked at them and other missiles before and after the game.

Leeds fans are just as bad as anyone else and tbh, Leeds, the fans who kick off at friendlies are well known for it.

    Agreed.

I was just pointing out that in this fixture their is no moral high ground for either side. It was always going to be full of hate.

<laugh> In a round-a-bout way Kisnorbo i'm saying both sides will try to justify their actions, but everyone else will see that they are as bad as eachother.:emoticon-0101-sadsm

No offence taken Kisnorbo, it doesn't matter if some of my own were worse than Leeds or Man Utd fans, they are all as bad as eachother.
