    I think the main difference is that he is now playing a formation that suits the players, and one they understand.
    It helps that Armstrong is prepared to run with the ball, rather than just play safety passes a la JWP and PEH, which helps draw players to him, creating space for others, especially if he does go past a player.

    Yeah, I mentioned the formation after the Villa game. I agree it seems to be at least one factor in our improved performance.

    Not sure about the second point, though. PEH and JWP are still in the lineup. Armstrong is really kind of replacing Boufal, and no one can accuse Boufal of not liking to run with the ball.
