I watched their game against Sheff Wed earlier today, and Bristol City are nothing special. Kasey Palmer is a good player, but their manager Johnson said after the game he wants to sign at least two strikers in
January.

Their lack of goals may come to an end against our defence <laugh>

I would go for some radical changes on Boxing Day -

Phillips

Doughty (LB)
Oshilaja
Lockyer
Solly

Pratley
Ledley
Morgan
Gallagher

Bonne
Taylor

The likes of Purrington, Pearce & Sarr are regularly costing us goals, and need dropping. Bonne is struggling big time as well, but with no Leko or Aneke, he’s a guaranteed pick.

They slaughtered us earlier in the season(another of Mr ban Gerwen´s 46 he did not attend), they may do so again.

Stay at home Mr ban Gerwen and finish off the turkey you would have stuffed yourself silly on the previous day.

Financially, Bristol City are in an absolute mess.
But it's the football that fans care about, not balance sheets and vague worries about future sanctions.

I fear City will be too good for us on Thursday.
Really hope I'm wrong. But that 96th minute kick in the nuts we got last time we played at the Valley is still smarting.

The last game we won was Jonny Williams last game for us, and it's a kick in the gonads that he's had a setback. Nevertheless I think we'll get something out of it, with Doughty and Morgan coming through. Provided No-one else gets injured, touch wood.

Bristol have sold 1,200 so far<applause>, a cracking turnout which will probably stretch to 1,500.

They are riding quite high as were we before the team became injury struck. But we are starting to show signs of turning a corner. The Hull reult was a punch in the knackers, but we apparently looked a lot better, and at QPR, once we got our opening 30 minutes of rubbish out of the way, we sounded a lot better too. A win feels just around the corner, although losing Leko means our options are generally on the treatment table rather than the bench.

I fancy us to win this game. But to do so we need to stop giving away stupid goals.

Don’t know what you mean by that but we aren’t in any trouble what so ever, anyways I’m at the game today and not confident of getting anything today as recently we have been shocking and although you haven’t won in 11 games this is the type of game we always lose to get opposition teams back to winning ways, but I’m hoping we pull something out of the bag and get to travel home happy, good luck for he rest of the season

Safe journey to London you and the City fans today ....we know how you feel....we had to travel to Ashton Gate on Boxing Day three seasons ago :emoticon-0120-doh:

Hi, Tom. I'm a bit fed up with seeing away fans going home happy from the Valley, but I hope you enjoy your visit to Sarf London otherwise. We're still a stuffy team to beat, but without our two best midfielders it is unlikely to be a classic of flowing football, either a draw or one goal separating the teams.

Do you still have bricks and skips outside the away end?

My voice is gone - good games for Oshilaja, Taylor, Bonne & Doherty.

Bonne’s second in particular was a great goal.

Let’s hope Gallagher’s injury isn’t serious.

Now then now then.

Who saw that coming at half time ?

Negatives today -

Gallagher’s injury
Poor defending, again
Only 18,000 for Boxing Day ...still far too many picking & choosing. The team deserves better.

Positives -

Bonne’s goals
Albie & Alfie both excellent
The team spirit, which basically won us the three points.

I still think the vast majority of these players have run their race at this level, and that we desperately need 5/6 quality additions in January to guarantee safety.

Great atmosphere at the end <applause>
