Parkinson was in charge at Wycombe do you not feel that bringing in a manager that has a connection to safc would not lift the team and fans? these highly regarded managers, Parkinson and Grayson have proven their incompetence
I did not go to the match and argued with my mother in hospital about how I have arrange daily visits before she is allowed home.. Would I have been more pizzed off if I had gone to the game? I reckon so...
0-0 v the bottom of the league team, acceptable ? we have not won since 2-11-19. There is zero sign of that trend ending. limo the next two away games Doncaster who hammered Peterborough 3-0 away and Fleetwood who won 3-2 away today will yield no points then we come to Lincoln and Wycombe at home, who will be launching it and wasting time all game. We lose those games 1-0 traditionally
Keane? Phillips, ball any sod could lift this team more than Parkinson could you tell me how Parkinson is any different than Grayson? Exactly the same highly regarded, knows the league etc, standard quotes of no easy games, good point, blah blah
I hope you're completely wrong as well marra. I guess we're both well annoyed at the situation we find ourselves in but see different solutions. I haven't the energy for a long night's posting so I'll just wish you Merry Christmas and hope that we're all a lot happier in the New Year however it comes about.
Yeah and it's the reason I advocate a change of manager. Only worth doing if there's an available manager with some balls who wants to attack otherwise it's just more disruption as poor as Parkinson has been.
Couldn't disagree with that and fully understand the need to be pragmatic when you don't have the players to suit. Think Ross had the same issue but managed it better than Parky has. He's under immense pressure to get a pretty much instant turn around with some new signings and if he doesn't I can't see him being here by the end of Feb.
I can stomach disallowed goals, dodgy offside decisions and fluky goal line clearances ... ... what I can't handle is cowardice from a Sunderland team and manager. That's what we had today, we may as well hand out white flags for the supporters to wave. No one going past defenders, putting everything into a shot or throwing their heads in where the boots are flying. And why is Grigg sitting on the bench when we can't score a goal at home to Bolton ... ... if he's not coming on then wtf is he doing taking a shirt!
I'm getting a bit tired of 'the problems run much deeper than this that and the other.' How long do we keep using this? Summer 2018 was when we got change of owners, a new manager and a change of playing staff with the high earners being slowly removed from the club. The players brought in were meant to be hungrier and people seemed ok with the squad last year. Now we are back to the same old **** of problems run much deeper.....etc etc. For me, Ross was sacked too early , with no adequate replacement lined up, and the current manager out of his depth. He simply doesn't seem up for it which is the exact opposite type of manager we need right now.
I predict grigg will leave and will score goals again. I just hope it’s in league two and not our division. There is nothing more certain if he ended up at Blackpool or similar he will score for them
Maja was the answer to this now Mcgeady getting left out it beggars belief, and Flanagan has wormed his way back some how and was crap. thats it for me unless Defoe/Grabban and another striker (who can actually get a shot on goal) they were pathetic today.
Total agreement. Portsmouth are the perfect example this season. They decided to ignore the fan chants and retain their manager. There’s been a twenty point swing between safc and them since
