If you are after a sports bar, rather than a pub. Try Hooters down on the water front. Service with a smile and they show most Sky Sports channels.

Then catch the water ferry down to the SS Great Britain and walk the rest of the way across the old railway bridge.

Avoid the ****heads at any cost. Leeds fans found out that just being there will result in a punch in the face from those dirty South Bristol chavs. Run for the hills my friend <ok>

Both are good suggestions from Wiz and Andy, The Nova is only a short walk to the ground and is used to away fans being in there with no problems, but what I would say is choose somewhere else if the weather is ****e as it's more of a 'get your beer and drink it outside' kind of pub, with tables and a large area outside, if it's pissing down then it gets quite packed and uncomfortable in there.

The Robins is also close to the ground but I'm not sure what it's like these days for away fans but I'm sure someone will be along to let you know DT. I wouldn't recommend Bar BS3 or The Three Lions though, the natives can get a bit restless in there!

Just keep your wits about you Tiger. Those chavy little feckers will have your shoes before you take a step outside

I remember going here in 2004 and 2008. Very friendly and lots of City fans. Not too far from the Nova Scotia. I remember walking across some abandoned railway line to get to the ground. Too bad we lost both times.
