    Whats your team for Saturday?

    Mine is...

    Krul
    Simpson S.Taylor Colo Raylor
    Marv Cabaye Tiote Jonas
    Ba Ben Arfa/Best

Dont know whether to start with best then put ben arfa on in the latter stages since best has been playing well....and that could easy ben arfa in since he has played a game this week....then maybe marv for obertan...then leave the 3rd sub for who is playing ****e lol....am glad santon is back in training next week! i think we will cope with raylor one more week but once he comes up against another good winger we are ****ed i think like....as for Ameobi...(according to commentators last night he had another mare...stopping Abeid from getting shots off, not passing, getting flagged offside etc...i believe against villa once he come on he stopped are fluent attacking!...whats it going to take for the kid to stop getting a game----rant over)

I think he will play pardew will play...

    Krul
    Simpson S.Taylor Colo Raylor
    Obertan Cabaye Tiote Jonas
    Ba Best

Then maybe ameobi <steam> , sammy and ben arfa on later....

You missed off the fact he pushed someone in the face. Ameobi needs to be dropped completely.

    I'd play:

    Krul
    Simpson Saylor Colo Raylor
    Marveaux Cabaye Tiote Jonas
    Ben Arfa
    Best

Only thing I'm worried about is bringing Ben Arfa back against a physical side like Blackburn. Might be too soon for him.

Exactly! Is there a single person that actually wants Shola anywhere near the match day squad?

I think that HBA will be on the bench on Saturday. There is no need to risk playing him from the start and making him play 2 matches in a week when he has been out for so long. I would definately like to see Marveaux start in place of Obertan though.

    I'd go

    Krul
    Simo - Saylor - Colo - Raylor
    Marv - Cabaye - Tiote - Jonas
    Ba - Best

HBA on for Marv/Ba at some point in the second half unless we're battering them then its pointless taking the risk.

In an ideal world I'd play a 4-3-1-2 formation:

    Krul
    Simpson---Saylo---Colo---Raylor
    Cabaye--Tiote---Jonas
    Ben Arfa
    Best---Ba

Think that we should sacrifice a winger (preferably Obertan) and maybe play Ben Arfa behind Best and Ba. Would give us more threat going forward against a defensive Blackburn side who will certainly be looking for a draw. And if it doesn't work we can sub Benny for Obertan or Marveaux in the second half.

No, replace him with Ranger, you won't catch him going around a football pitch pushing peoples faces!!!

In all seriousness, I would start with the same 11 that started against Villa, with Ben Arfa obviously now on the bench. If it isn't going to plan then there is plenty scope to change it!!

The odd few people who argue he has been a loyal servant to the club to which i respond 'only loyal because no one else is stupid enough to buy him...'

i have many friends who support different clubs and when they see shola line up against them they laugh...apart from mackems but even last game he didnt score there!!

I think that this is what Pardew will do, but I would like to see Marveaux start instead of Obertan

Isn't Ferguson carrying a knock of some sort?

By the way there's a Third Round highlights show on BBC1 tonight at 11.20pm.

Karl Henry won't be happy to leave the pitch until he's out done what De Jong did on Ben Arfa.

This is what Pardew said last night about Santon:

“It was a little pea-sized amount of fluid, so there wasn’t a lot of fluid on his knee.” “We think it’s a really good response, but we are not going to rush him.”

“He is going to run tomorrow, we think he is going to train at the weekend – he won’t be involved in the Blackburn game – and we are hoping on Monday that he is full training.”

“If he breaks down in any of that period then we will make a decision on Wednesday on whether he has to have surgery.” “But at the moment we are very positive.”

    Therefore I'd go with:

    Krul

    Simmo
    Colo
    Saylor
    Raylor

Marv (if he's not too tired after 120 mins otherwise Obertan)
    Tiote
    Cabaye
    Jonas

    Ba
    Best

Giving HBA around 25 mins. I'd be inclined not too start him against Wolves either, let him feel his way back. Then he's got 2 weeks of training to build up final fitness and sharpness and then I'd unleash him against Tottenham after the international break when it might be beneficial to play 4-5-1 anyway.
