If it wasn’t for my young one in the car I would have went after him. To make him realise his stupid ****ing actions could have lead his family with no kid for Christmas. But his attitude, I’d be surprised if he would have gave a toss.

Trouble is mate if you do that and catch up with him it could put you in a dangerous position, either with police or his family and mates. As someone said it’s a sign of the times just thank god you missed him and you don’t have to live with your conscience.

We live in a world now that everything is instant. Kids if they want something they just order it on their phone. I think this spills into other aspects of their life...hence if they want to cross the road...they don't want wait...there just going to cross it. No respect anymore...or patience....yes the kid could have killed himself....but for you, you would have had that on your conscience for the rest of your life....or at least that horrible experience. You did the right thing not going after the lad...that could have opened another can of worms.....just move on the best you can. Have a great holiday mate.

I cycled home this afternoon, from the west-end of London. as per my usual route home I rode through Hyde Park onto Exhibition Rd past Imperial College.

Part-way down there is a mass entourage of kids on their bikes coming up the other way, full of aggression - BMX, hybrid mountain bikes and the likes, ridden by 10-14 yr olds. about 100!of them, Pummelling up both sides of the street giving everyone jip and abuse.

I was behind a van which slowed down to let them past but I honestly wonder how I would have fared If I was out in front, on me tod, just trying to get home. It was like a bad version of Warrior, there was a severe sense of malice and I genuinely feared for what these punky, motherfuckers would try to do.

    All I could think was
    a) thank **** I am 'disguised' by a white van in front of me
    b) don't these little ****s know it's Christmas and
    c) I hope to Christ my kid never, ever gets involved in this ****

My Finnish days taught me to carry an axe at all times in the winter. I honestly thought I would need it, for all the wrong reasons. Wtf is going in with kids today

The worrying thing for me is that many kids together suggests some kind of organisation. It would be like getting hit by a zerg in a MMPORG

Sure is a different world with a different type of citizen that’s developing . It feels to
“Wtf is going wrong with kids”
Exactly . Not all bad kids but the bad ones are getting badder and more numerous. Forget brexit and the level of borrowing etc , our politicians have to start looking at not only the solution to this new generation , but to the reasons behind it. If they do nothing , then the time will come when a adult respectable society will say enough is enough , the kids do not rule, and maybe we will forget respectfulness in favour of vigilante behaviour

Don't think it's difficult. Too much of spare the rod has spoilt the children. Comes a time when a thick ear is more effect than sweet reason.

They tell people to train and discipline their new dog whilst it’s a puppy . Same for children. As you say , no lines drawn these days by the adults , so children create their own and then continually extend them as they grow older , and take them out into the community .
