The debate that is trending all over social media. Firstly for what Gary (and Graeme and Ashley were saying) but also for the way Sky handled it. Some of the best punditry you’ll see this season - they attack everything that is wrong with football.

No doubt about it, we can all do more to eradicate such behaviour and hatred.

Sky's response IMO was appalling, they would have been better to say nothing and just let the debate take its course. Shameful.

I haven’t actually seen it, but if he was trying to separate the racism issue and Neville’s criticism of political parties (justified or not) I can see why he could have felt he needed to do that as they will have contractual issues with remaining politically balanced.

Interesting apology though

*Of course I imagine it was actually the producer in his earpiece saying he had to say it.

I wonder what he has in his locker

With the amount of surveillance, stewards and CCTV present in football stadiums nowadays,I'm fairly sure the culprit/culprits will be rooted out immediately. It is then the job of the Club to deal with it and they will!!

This kind of **** was prevalent in the 60's and 70's and unfortunately it was commonplace, that's not the case nowadays and it's more down to the odd individual acting like a ****ing idiot. What good would a government enquiry do? Deal with it at Club level, route out the racist personally and make sure they no longer attend matches!!
